Does President Bush have the world’s worst speech writers who don’t even do simple fact checking or does he just pull this stuff out of the air in the hope that the American public will buy it?

Aren’t we all tire of hearing it. Words such as “overstated”-“way off”-“claim”-“confusion” “making up figures” and so on. Well I am. Let call it as we see it and hear it: Bush LIED through his lying teeth. President Bush “lied” about his claim that more than 25 million people with Medicare now have prescription drug coverage, and hundreds of thousands more are enrolling each week. His “pants on fire” US Department of Health and Human Services has over and over lied about the number of enrollees in the new Medicare prescription drug plan. According to Medicare’s own figures, the actual number of voluntary enrollees is much smaller, about 5 million. Instead of admitting the truth, the Bush administration find itself compulsively “lying” through its teeth and “fuzzying” up figures that suggest the phony Medicare program is a success. It’s all thought out, not an accident. That where the confusion comes in, and the all big fat lies.
