Congress has time to debate flag burning and of course the important issue of protecting marriage from gays and lesbians. That has left little time to debate something that could actually have a positive impact on an estimated 1.8 million parents with children. Since over half of the people who divorce cite financial problems as the leading cause to their divorce, wouldn't this move to raise the minimum wage be something that really would protect marriage? Just asking.
