And they eat their own…
Say what you will about Ann Coulter, and I certainly have, but she says what some others only think. That has always been her appeal and she will continue to have an audience. She has certainly said much worse and that didn’t seem to effect her popularity.
I tend to agree with one commenter on another Ann Coulter thread on the GayPatriot site who said:
“The real scandal is not Ann Coulter – it is the fact that she is LOVED by the conservative base. Hell, she was even introduced by a leading presidential candidate last night. And after her talk there was a line a mile long to get her to sign books.”
The big story is not what Ann Coulter said, because let’s face it this wasn’t particularly shocking in the Ann Coulter sphere of things, but the Conservative reaction. I am glad to see the leading GOP Presidential hopefuls taking the high road.

Anne Coulter said something stupid. I can’t believe this much press is wasted on this person who does nothing but engage in ideological hackery. The sooner we start ignoring the crackpots from all edges of the spectrum the better off we will be.

Coulter figured out a long time ago, “why bother with a real job when I can make so much more money simply spewing sound bites that the current American culture seems to thrive on” All she did wa take Howard Sterns model to a political platform.
I’m not a fan of sterns but at least he’s original! Coulter understands marketing, that these antics sell books and increase her speaking fees. The only way that stops is america gets smart!
